It was a full moon night
The moon shined bright
All stars were bedazzled
Street lights seemed vain

Empty streets glistened
Vehicles hastily passed
As I walked desolately
Unfeeling earth below

A dog howled, slid by
Sensing presence of
A departed lost soul
Seeking redemption
